pregnancy symptoms
Feeling uncomfortable during your pregnancy?
Pregnancy symptoms are unpleasant. They make simple things like walking, getting out of bed, or climbing stairs suddenly painful. And all you want to do is enjoy your pregnancy.
Many pregnant women experience discomfort. You may suffer from pelvic pain or lower back pain that worsens as your belly grows. You may experience pain in your pubic area when walking or have difficulty turning over in bed. Some people say that this is just part of pregnancy, but that doesn’t have to be the case.
Let’s see how we can help you. Not with complicated stories about symphysiolysis or sacroiliac dysfunction. Just a clear explanation of what’s going on and what you can do about it. We examine your pelvis and back, listen to your story, and make a plan that suits your pregnancy.

The treatment
What can you expect when you come to our practise with pregnancy complaints?
When you visit us during your pregnancy, we will start with a detailed consultation. What symptoms do you have? Since when? What makes it worse? And how many weeks pregnant are you?
Next, we examine your pelvis, back, and posture. We look at stability, movement, and pain points. Of course, we do this in a way that is safe and comfortable for you and your baby.
Based on our findings, we will draw up a treatment plan. This may consist of exercises to strengthen your pelvis and back, hands-on treatments to reduce pain, and advice on posture, movement, and daily activities. Sometimes we also recommend a pelvic belt for extra support.
We also provide tips on how to prepare for childbirth and what you can do to promote recovery after giving birth. Everything is tailored to your pregnancy and your individual needs.
